my apps
I’m often asked what tools and apps I use in my business, so here they are.
Every business is different.
So, although I love these apps, they may not be right for you. Make sure to do your own research.
ClickUp
work/project management, business hub
Everything I need to run my business is in ClickUp.
You can sign up to ClickUp using this link*.
Google Workspace
email, file storage, collaboration
Google Workspace is a must-have tool if you want to work from anywhere and/or collaborate effectively with your team and clients. Email management is made easy with your branded Gmail address.
Sign up for Google Workspace here*.
MailerLite
email marketing
Forget Mailchimp and ConvertKit, MailerLite has everything you need to get started with email marketing. Their free plan is very generous and lets you send campaigns and email sequences. Other tools make you pay for this!
Sign up to MailerLite with this link* and get a US$20 credit.
Zoho Books
invoicing + bookkeeping
Although Xero seems to be the standard here in Australia, I opted for Zoho Books* (after 2 years of using Xero). It’s much more user-friendly and a lot cheaper too!
Squarespace
Website
Creating a beautiful on-brand website in Squarespace is simple and a lot faster than using WordPress, which makes it the perfect tool to get started online.
(I no longer use Squarespace but it was great to get me started!)
Acuity Scheduling
appointment management
It’s now called Squarespace Scheduling but it has the same functionality. Acuity Scheduling makes it easy to share your availability with clients, manage your appointments, send reminders to clients and collect payment before appointments.
Make (fka Integromat)
automation
Save time and automate your business with Make*. It’s a bit more advanced than Zapier and you can build more complex scenarios… even on the free plan. I only use Make in my business.
Canva
graphic design
I’ve resisted paying for Canva for a long time, but the paid plan is sooo worth it! Having quick access to my brand guidelines has saved me so much time. Plus, all my designs are now neatly organised in folders and I love it.
tailwind
Pinterest scheduling
If you have a blog, then you need to be on Pinterest. Make pinning easy by scheduling your pins ahead of time with Tailwind. It takes me less than 15 minutes a week to schedule a whole week worth of pins. Plus, you can also schedule your Instagram posts with Tailwind.
Sign up to Tailwind with this link* and get US$15 off when you upgrade to a paid plan.
*Because these are platforms I love and use all the time, I’m an affiliate.
